Dress Code

Classes 3-5 years

Pre-Ballet & Tap:

Girls wear fitted movement friendly apparel such as leotards (with or without attached skirts), tights, and or leggings and pink ballet slippers and black tap shoes! Long hair must be pulled back out of the face. Boys wear fitted tee shirts or tanks, leggings or shorts, and black ballet slippers and black tap shoes.

Tip Toes & Rainbows:

Girls wear fitted movement friendly apparel such as leotards (with or without attached skirts), tights, and or leggings. Boys wear movement friendly apparel such as t-shirts, leggings, and shorts. No shoes are required for this class, barefoot optional ballet shoes. Long hair must be pulled back out of the face.

Pre-K Hip Hop/Jazz:

Girls wear fitted movement friendly apparel such as leotards (with or without attached skirts), tights, tank tops, and or leggings. Boys wear movement friendly apparel such as t-shirts, leggings, and shorts. No shoes are required for this class, barefoot with optional indoor sneakers only. Long hair must be pulled back out of the face.

Classes 5-8 years

Beginning Ballet

Girls wear fitted movement friendly apparel such as leotards (with or without attached skirts), tights, and or leggings and pink ballet slippers. Long hair must be pulled back out of the face. Boys wear fitted tee shirt, leggings or pants and black ballet slippers.

BEGINNING TAP & JAZZ

Girls wear fitted movement friendly apparel such as leotards (with or without attached skirts), tank tops, tights, and or leggings and black tap shoes and jazz shoes. Long hair must be pulled back out of the face. Boys wear movement friendly apparel (tee shirts, tanks, shorts, leggings) and black tap shoes and jazz shoes.

BEGINNING HIP HOP & JAZZ

Long hair in a ponytail, shorter hair pulled off the face, Girls: Wear dance apparel including tank tops, dance pants, shorts, etc and black jazz shoes, and indoor sneakers (clean and not worn outside). Boys: t-shirt, dance pants or shorts, black jazz shoes, and indoor sneakers (clean and not worn outside).

Beginning Dance Medley (Tap, Jazz, Ballet) & Beginning dance MEdley with Experience (Tap, Jazz, Ballet)

Girls wear fitted movement friendly apparel such as leotards (with or without attached skirts), tights, and or leggings and pink ballet slippers and black tap shoes (no need for jazz shoes). Boys wear fitted tee shirts, leggings or pants and black ballet slippers and black tap shoes (no need for jazz shoes). Long hair must be pulled back out of the face.

Classes 7-11 years & 8-12 years

Musical Theatre & Jazz I

Girls wear fitted movement friendly athletic apparel such as tank tops, leotards, shorts or leggings and black jazz shoes. Long hair must be pulled back out of the face. Boys wear fitted tee shirt, pants or shorts and black jazz shoes.

Ballet & Contemporary I & Ballet & Contemporary II

Girls wear fitted movement friendly apparel such as leotards, ballet skirts, convertible tights, tanks, leggings or shorts and pink ballet shoes. Boys wear fitted tee shirts, leggings or shorts and black ballet shoes. Long hair must be pulled back out of the face.

Hip Hop & Jazz I/II

Long hair in a ponytail, shorter hair pulled off the face, Girls: Wear dance apparel including tank tops, dance pants, shorts, etc and black jazz shoes or indoor only sneakers (clean and not worn outside). Boys: t-shirt, dance pants or shorts, black jazz shoes, or indoor only sneakers (clean and not worn outside). This class explores a lot of floor work and knee-pads are highly encouraged.

Tap I/II

Girls wear fitted movement friendly athletic apparel such as tank tops, leotards, shorts or leggings, and black tap shoes. Long hair must be pulled back out of the face. Boys wear fitted tee shirt, pants or shorts, and black tap shoes.

Classes 11-18 years

Contemporary III/IV

Girls wear fitted movement friendly apparel such as leotards, tanks, leggings or shorts. Boys wear fitted tee shirt and leggings or shorts. No shoes are required for this class and students have the option of being barefoot, wearing non-slick socks, or purchasing “footundez” a shoe that pads the ball of the foot but allows the toes and heel of the foot to be uncovered. Long hair must be pulled back out of the face.

Ballet III/Pointe & Ballet I/II

Girls wear pink ballet shoes, form fitting clothing including leotards and tights preferred with ballet skirts, leggings and tank tops acceptable. Long hair must be pulled back out of the face. Boys wear fitted tee shirts or tanks, dance pants or dance tights for men, a dance belt, and black ballet slippers. Please bring a resist-a-band to class in either green, purple, or dark gray strength each class (Example: Gaiam Therapy Bands you can find at Dick's Sporting Goods and online).

reVel Dance Ensemble

Girls wear fitted movement friendly apparel such as leotards, tanks, convertible tights, leggings or shorts and bring Black jazz shoes and pink ballet shoes to class. Boys wear fitted tee shirt, dance pants, a dance belt and black jazz shoes and black ballet slippers. Long hair must be pulled back out of the face.

Musical Theatre & Jazz II/III

Girls wear fitted movement friendly athletic apparel such as tank tops, leotards, shorts or leggings and black jazz shoes (or black character shoes if preferred for audition use). Boys wear fitted tee shirt, dance pants or shorts and black jazz shoes. Long hair must be pulled back out of the face.

Tap I/II

Adult/Teen Beginning Tap

Girls and Women wear fitted movement friendly athletic apparel such as tank tops, shorts or leggings and black tap shoes. Long hair must be pulled back out of the face. Boys and Men wear fitted tee shirt, dance pants or shorts and black tap shoes.
