***Teen Punch card classes are for the following class: Monday 7:30-8:30PM Teen/Adult Intermediate Tap, Saturday 11:00 to 12:00pm Adult/Teen Beg Tap). All other teen classes are by the whole session!

All adult and teen punch cards expire 1 year from date of purchase!

 
 

Policy

Summer 2023 Session: June 12th through Aug 5th

Fall 2023 Session runs: August 21st through December 16th 

Spring 2023 Session: January 9th through June 5th for classes ages 5 to Adult

Preschool Spring 2023 classes there are two "mini" sessions:

"Mini" Session 1: Jan 9th to March 18th and "Mini" Session 2: March 27th to June 5th

*Note:  YOU MUST REGISTER FOR BOTH FALL, SPRING, AND SUMMER SESSIONS SEPARATELY!

Open Registration: You may register for any class at any time as space allow and classes are based on a continuous learning cycle. Tuition is pro-rated based on start date.

Important Note: In the event of a new stay at home order all programming will pivot to virtual learning and monthly payments will continue on the same payment plan schedule and will continue until the end of the session happen. Missed classes are not eligible for a tuition credit or refund.

Fall 2023 Tuition:

Adult class Tuition/ Punch cards:

To register for Adult classes you can either pay and attend a drop in class for $20 or purchase a 10 adult class punch card for $190 which is good for attendance for any Adult drop in class including the Adult Hip Hop & Jazz Monday 6:30-7:30pm, Teen/Adult Intermediate Tap Monday 7:30-8:30pm, Adult Contemporary/Modern Dance Wednesday 7:30-8:30pm class, Adult Open Level Ballet on Thursdays 7:00-8:15pm, or the Adult/Teen Beg Tap Class on Sat from 11:00 to 12:00pm. Punch cards are non-transferrable and expire a year from purchase. Due to COVID for in person classes only you must register for a class slot by clicking on the signup genius (listed under the classes header up above) for the specific class and date as each Adult and Teen drop in class is restricted to 12 participants per class. If you need to drop a date from Signup genius you must allow for 24 hours notice or you will be charged for taking class.  If you are sick or injured please let us know asap and you will not be charged.  You do not need to pay an annual registration fee for Drop in or punch card classes. The Bar Method class is Drop in Only and is $18/per class.

TEEN TUITION FOR PUNCH CARDS:

To register for a Teen punch card, you can either pay and attend a drop-in class for $20 or purchase a 10 adult class punch card for $190. Payments excepted for Tuition:

We except payments by cash, check (all payments should be made out to REVEL DANCE CENTER LLC), debit, or by any major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Discover).  A 3% cc processing fee will be applied for each charge.  We also except PayPal payments as well.

Note:  You are required to enroll in Auto-pay to register but you if you prefer to pay by check or cash please let me know and I can adjust your account.  We are not able to automatically run your payments monthly unless you sign up for this service through your Dance Studio Pro Account Main Menu – Auto Bill Pay, which is why we would like to have you opt into this service if you are able to.

Late Fee Charges:

A $25 late fee will be applied if payment is not received after the 7th of the month.  This fee increases to $35 after two weeks.  If a payment is 30 days overdue then a fee totaling $50 will be applied to the account. If a payment is not received in a period of 4 months then the account must be handed over to a collection agency. 

Please contact the office if you are currently under financial hardship due to COVID so that we help with payment flexibility.

Returned Check Charges: There is a $25 fee applied to all returned checks.

**Important:  Dancers will not be allowed to take class if we have not received payment.  Also, all outstanding balances will need to be paid in full for each session before a student can be registered for the next session.

Absences/Make up Policy:

  • Tuition adjustments are not allowed for missed classes, but we do prorate classes based on late registration.

  • Your child is welcome to a recorded class based on your child’s ability, age, and dance form in the event they missed their own due to illness, or vacations.  At this time, we will not be holding in studio make up classes…only recorded classes for at home makeups.  Please contact the office by phone or email to have access to the pre-recorded class.

  • Please remember your tuition pays for your student’s space in class NOT your attendance. 

Withdrawal Policy:

  • 100% tuition (not including the deposit and registration fee) reimbursement will only be processed before August 21st, 2023. Tuition reimbursements after August 21st, 2023 for Fall will be considered by the center on an individual basis, but no refund is guaranteed and a credit for future class use may be offered in replacement of a refund.

  • Tuition reimbursements after August 21st, 2023 for Summer will be considered by the center on an individual basis, but no refund is guaranteed and a credit for future class use may be offered in replacement of a refund.  Any withdrawal after the first Month of the class is not subject to a refund.  I also understand that there are no refunds for costume fees, performance fees, registration fees (and first month deposit), convention and/or competition fees, or private lessons. 

  •  Revel Dance Center requires 1 month notice for withdrawal from classes.  This must be communicated in writing and sent to the office to inforeveldance@gmail.com.  Billing will continue until notification is received.  Please remember that class space has been reserved for your child.  Let us know if we can accommodate you with a class change, etc. Lack of student attendance is not reason or communication for the need of any withdrawal or refund! 

  • If you are in need of a refund and you paid for the full session you must communicate with Revel Dance Center LLC immediately in writing and sent to the office at inforeveldance@gmail.com, who will decide if you are entitled to a refund (examples include an injury, illness, moving out of the area, etc.).  If you receive a refund you will be given either an account credit for future use or a check for the amount of the discounted tuition minus the classes already taken.

Class placements, growth, and other details:

  • Students are evaluated at the end of each semester to celebrate their growth and learning and continue their motivation and development!

  • All class placements are at the discretion of reVel dance center’s artistic director and faculty. In the first month of classes, faculty may suggest a change of class(es) for some dancers (either a level up or a level down) depending on their ability, experience, motivation and focus. Our staff will work with you to create a schedule that will best suit your dancer.

  • Revel Dance Center’s staff reserves the right to cancel, change or reschedule a class based on attendance and/or registration.

  • We recommend all students take at least one month of classes before deciding to drop or change disciplines.

DISCOUNTS:

  • We offer a 5% Multi-class Discount or a Multi-Family Discount (but both cannot be applied together):  For each student, after the first full semester length active class is paid in full, there is a 5% discount on any additional classes (on the cheaper of the two classes that is also a full semester active class).  This discount does not include or apply to any drop-in classes, adult classes, registration fees, costume deposits /costs, or recital fees. 

  • We offer a 5% Multi-student Discount or a Multi-class Discount (but both cannot be applied together): After the first full price (most expensive value of class) is paid without discount the student with the lesser value class receives a 5% discount. Immediate family only please. Drop in classes or adult class punch cards don’t count toward the multi-class or multi-student discounts.

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES:

Holiday 2023 Dance Concert

We will be presenting a dance recital is on Saturday, Dec 16th. To put on a quality show (theater rental, production and lighting, staff for the production) a $65 recital fee is charged for each show. Additionally, a costume fee for each participating student will be charged before each costume can be ordered (Child size Toddler to Child Medium $70, Child size Large to Adult Size Large $80 per costume). The Recital Costume fee will be added to the Nov 7th, 2023 payment and you will be charged based on the sizing measurements we take on class of each student. The Recital Concert Fee will be added to the Nov 7th, 2023 payment. Costumes and recital fees are not refundable or returnable!

**We believe performing is an integral part of your student's dance education, as dance is a performing art, and strongly encourage all dancers to participate in these performance opportunities.

Other Important Information:

COMMUNICATION:

  • We require an accurate email address at all times. Please provide us with an email address that you check regularly as we communicate via email regarding important studio matters. If you are not receiving these emails, please inform us right away.

  •  If your home address, phone number, or email address changes during the dance season, please inform us immediately so we may update our files.

  •  Be sure to check in on reVel Dance center’s Facebook page, website, and Instagram. Studio closings, class and performance updates, and studio announcements are posted regularly.  Please note we will post important signs throughout the year on our notice boards and the front door about studio matters. It is the responsibility of all parents to check these notices regularly.

Weather Closures:

  • If bad weather occurs, the studio may close in the event of poor weather.  Note:  We follow the St. Vrain Valley School District closings.  If St. Vrain cancels classes due to weather then we cancel our classes too! 

  • The studio will post an announcement on our Facebook page, as well as on the website's home page and through an email to each affected class to reflect the closure. 

  • We encourage all parents to check one of the places one hour before your child’s scheduled class on bad weather days. 

  • The studio will not reimburse any tuition for cancelled classes as a result of a snow day.  Your child is welcome to make up their missed class by receiving a pre-recorded video fitting your child’s ability, age, and dance style.

LOST & FOUND:

We will have a designated lost and found area for left behind items but reVel dance center is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. We recommend your child’s name be written on all clothing, bags, coats, dance shoes and dance attire and leave any valuables at home.
